Getting going

I've been busy sewing and selling but not a lot of posting to my blog...

I'm in love with this dress by SewBaby. I've had the pattern for years but never used it before last night. I altered it a pinch and think I'll do a few more changes to make it my own (can I ever just do a pattern the way it's written?)


I haven't been sewing for my boy enough lately - I found this fabric and knew he just had to have it. So, I made him a shirt and then also offered it as a custom in my store at weepingwillows.



I've been into knitting again. This is an off and on hobby of mine. The latest thing is dishcloths. I enjoy the quickness and immediate results and the fun of playing with different stitches. Right now I'm taking a break from the dishcloths and making a shirt for Faithie but here are some cloths I did this month.

A New Start

Well, I decided to start up a new blog - devoted just to my crafting and creating and things like that .... just to spare my family from reading constantly about what I'm doing with my "free" time.

I have been trying to keep up with all my sewing for sale at the store, doing custom orders locally and internet, sewing for my kids and self... and being a full time mama too. I've decided to take a little break from Ebay sewing for now because it hasn't been very satisfying at this time.
